With support from the California Arts Council and Garces Memorial High School, KERN DANCE ALLIANCE welcomes back SHINE for Girls: MATH + DANCE = SUCCESS to the Kern County area!
SHINE is a free, one-week program that combines dance with a tailored math curriculum to create an environment for young girls (6th-8th grade) to explore math in a unique and creative way. We strive to not only improve mathematical skills, but also empower students to chase after their passions with confidence!
