LEAP TOWARDS YOUR FUTURE!
In partnership with Garces Memorial High School, KDA is proud to host SHINE for Girls: MATH + DANCE = SUCCESS in Kern County!
SHINE is a free, one-week program that combines dance with a tailored math curriculum to create an environment for young girls (6th-8th grade) to explore math in a unique and creative way. We strive to not only improve mathematical skills, but also empower students to chase after their passions with confidence!

Student Application Deadline: Friday, July 10
Mentor Application Deadline: Friday, July 10
Mentor Training Date: Thursday, July 16
Program runs Monday, July 20 - Friday, July 24 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
